Earlier this week, Memjet welcomed more than 10 of the industry’s best and brightest print industry editors, journalists, market analysts, and consultants, plus two OEM partner executives to our San Diego Headquarters for our 2019 US Press Event; which took place all day and evening on Tuesday 8/27, plus expanded from Monday 8/26 evening into Wednesday 8/28 evening for some.
A high-caliber agenda – including presentations, one-on-one discussions, break-out sessions and interviews – unlike any other branding experience of its kind at Memjet, earned us great accolades from reputable attendees. “Determined to succeed”, “exceeding expectations”, “impressed with the professionalism and high quality of the event and presentation of the technology”, were some of the quotes provided by the attendees who recognized Memjet for sparking inspiration and passionate support for its printing technology breath and brand. Around twelve Memjet employees and two external partners attended and supported the event in person. Many more people followed real-time video highlights of the event posted on the event day via Memjet’s social media Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.
This year’s central theme focused on how our company’s new technology will harness digital printing opportunities across the value chain to grow and create lasting value for our OEM partners, their channel and the brand owners. The various sessions focused on our company’s evolution, the value of the new platform and the promises and challenges of our printing technology, and how our two OEMs – Colordyne and Kirk Rudy are using it to help them navigate an era of printing disruption.
Colordyne’s CEO – Gary Falconbridge and Kirk Rudy’s General Manager – Bob Mills shared about their specific experiences engaging with Memjet and how to meet the needs of the consumer today using our printing technologies, developing new digital printing presses, and innovating with Memjet.
Just a few of the names on this year’s impressive attendee line-up of influencers included: Amy Machado, IDC; Bob Leahey, InfoTrends; Lorenzo Villa, Density CEO, David Zwang, WhatTheyThink; Greg Hrinya, Label and Narrow Web, Chelsea McDougall, Labels and Labeling, Patrick Henry, printing Impressions and Sean Smyth, Digital labels and Packaging.
Continuing to embrace innovation allows us to create value for our OEM customers, for their channel partners and brands, and profitable sales growth for Memjet. Take a moment to enjoy some of the photos from the event.
Thanks to our two OEM partners, our esteemed colleague speakers/presenters and all volunteers from our lab who alongside our marketing team and Mary Alice helped us have a successful 2019 US Press event!
