One of the biggest stories coming out of The Inkjet Summit is the partnership between Konica Minolta, Memjet, and SuperWeb.
Under this three-way partnership, Konica Minolta will add the Memjet-powered WEBjet 200D and WEBjet100D continuous feed inkjet presses to its long line of market-leading production printing devices. Manufactured by Super Web, and powered by Memjet, both of these WEBjet solutions deliver high quality, high speed and high volume printing to the transaction, direct mail, publishing and in-plant business sectors.
By working together, SuperWeb expands the reach of its WEBJet presses, while Konica Minolta complements its existing line of cut sheet toner and inkjet products.
“We’re very pleased with this strategic alliance because, first and foremost, it will truly benefit the marketplace,” said Dino Pagliarello, Vice President, Product Management and Planning, Konica Minolta. “The addition of the WEBjet 200D and 100D fills a gap in our product portfolio we wanted to address. And, it gives Super Web, the manufacturer, and by extension, Memjet, a suite of marketing and servicing capabilities to address a wider customer base. This is a unique, win-win partnership.”
Konica Minolta estimates that the solutions will be officially launched later this spring. In the meantime, customers who want to read more can read this article on WhatTheyThink.
