The string of industry events continues, and last week it was the annual SGIA Expo that captured our attention.
As always, the event showcased the latest technologies and products in the specialty imaging market place. But this year, the size, attendance, and range of products on display clearly demonstrated the growth and opportunity that’s happening in this market.
SGIA reported that this was the largest trade show floor in SGIA history. Over 570 exhibitors covered more than 272,700 square feet. During the course of the three-day event, 24,000 people visited the exhibit halls.
Memjet partners on display
Canon showcased the latest enhancements to its large format print system offering, the Memjet powered Océ ColorWave 910. SGIA marked the US debut of the Océ ColorWave 910, and it was exciting for us – and for SGIA attendees – to see the wide range of products that could be produced using this new, roll-to-roll solution.
