Next week, close to ten Memjet partners will gather at the WestPack 2018 conference in Anaheim to showcase innovative packaging solutions. As the packaging industry undergoes a big transformation, WestPack promises to be an information-packed event.
“There has never been a more dynamic time to be in packaging,” said Kim Beswick, general manager of Memjet. “Mintel reports that changes in consumer behavior — including growth in e-commerce, the desire for locally produced products and demand for sustainable products and packages — will drive packaging innovation in 2018.”
Digital inkjet printing solutions – like those shown at WestPack – enable providers to keep pace with these shifts in consumer behavior by providing the quality, speed and affordability needed to meet the demands of consumers today – and into the future.
New Possibilities in Customized Packaging
The Memjet-powered New Solutions Multi (NS Multi) box printer is an example of one of these solutions. This corrugated, folding carton, and wide format printer can print on any paper-based package up to ½” thick and 43” wide, including pre-cut cartons, corrugated sheets, or folded carton stock. Color Label Solutions has announced they are launching the NS Multi at WestPack and will be showcasing the solution at the show for attendees who want to stop by and take a closer look.
